Dong Open Air is a metal and heavy metal festival taking place in Neukirchen-Vluyn near Krefeld and Duisburg in Germany. In the silent seclusion of the Dongberg in Neukirchen-Vluyn on the Lower Rhine, the festival brings up-and-coming acts and underground bands from the international metal scene live to one stage.

Heavy metal icons such as Arch Enemy, Testament, Bloodbath, In Extremo and Amorphis have performed in the past, while In Extremo, Blind Guardian, Behemoth and Equilibrium are joining the festival this year.
