Lily Allen heads Down Under for her biggest tour yet

Auckland, Lily Allen is coming back! On 21 October, the British pop icon will take over Spark Arena as she kicks off her Australian and New Zealand West End Girl Tour, her first shows in this part of the world in more than seven years.

It’s a long-awaited return for an artist who has spent two decades making British pop music sharper, funnier and considerably more candid. Allen burst onto the international scene with her 2006 debut album, Alright, Still, turning everyday observations, attitude and irresistible melodies into a string of hits including “Smile”, “LDN”, and “Alfie”. Her follow-up, It’s Not Me, It’s You, cemented her status with songs such as “The Fear” and “Fuck You”.

Since then, Allen has never been afraid to change direction. Albums including Sheezus and No Shame explored fame, relationships, motherhood and personal struggles with the trademark honesty and dark humour that have always set her apart.

Now she returns with West End Girl, her first album in seven years. Released in 2025, the record marks another deeply personal chapter, drawing on Allen’s experiences of relationships, upheaval and starting over. Musically, it moves between pop, electronic production and more intimate songwriting, creating an album designed to be experienced as a complete story.

And that story will take centre stage in Auckland. Rather than simply revisiting her greatest hits, Allen’s West End Girl Tour is built around the new album, which she performs in full and in sequence, giving the concert a distinctive narrative flow.

Following Auckland, Allen takes the production to Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth, making the Spark Arena date the opening night of the Australian and New Zealand run.

For Auckland, that makes 21 October a particularly special date: Lily Allen returns after seven years away, opens the Down Under tour at Spark Arena and brings West End Girl to life from beginning to end.
