Hailing from Southampton on the English south coast, RØRY (aka Roxanne Emery), had a successful solo career under her own name in the 2010s, issuing a handful of EPs and the 2014 album For Weddings and a Funeral, while also lending her vocals to a slew of anthemic trance tracks. Following her success, she spiraled into addiction, before finding her way back after being diagnosed with ADHD. Clean and sober, she put her time into her music career again, donning the new name, RØRY.
Debuting in 2021 with a string of singles including “My Chemical Romance,” “UNCOMPLICATED,” and “fuck fame,” RØRY had also created an online audience with regular posts to social media detailing her challenges of living with ADHD. With her videos and lyrics about her life resonating with fans, her spiky mix of anthemic metal, punk, and pop had earned her plaudits. Her prolific release schedule continued, with a slew of tracks being issued in the run up to her debut EP, 2023’s Family Drama. She continued to build on her online presence while also gigging across the U.K., playing headline shows and festival dates, including a slot at the U.K.’s biggest metal festival, Download. Throughout 2024, RØRY issued a handful of singles while working on her debut album. Released at the beginning of 2025, Restoration, channeled all her previous work into a cathartic mix of confessional alternative pop.
In 2027, she returns to Germany for four new dates:
- 23 January at Canteen, Cologne
- 24 January at SO36,Berlin
- 26 January at Uebel & Gefährlich,Hamburg
- 27 January at Hansa 39, Munich
