If your idea of a good Saturday involves distorted guitars, blown speakers, mosh pits and a healthy dose of rock’n’roll chaos, Helldorado is calling. On 14 November, Eindhoven’s industrial Klokgebouw once again becomes a one-day temple to punk, metal, hardcore and everything gloriously loud in between.
Born in 2017, Helldorado quickly established itself as one of the Netherlands’ most distinctive heavy music festivals. After editions in 2017 and 2018, the festival returned in 2022 and has since become an annual fixture at the Klokgebouw. Its history includes appearances from heavyweights such as At The Gates, Baroness, Carcass, Clutch, Danko Jones, Gluecifer, Graveyard, Kadavar, Life of Agony, Mantar, Orange Goblin, The Darkness, The Hellacopters, Turbonegro and Triggerfinger.
Now Helldorado returns for another indoor assault across three stages, with a lineup that refuses to sit neatly inside any genre box. Eagles of Death Metal bring their sleazy desert-rock swagger, while Belgian post-metal giants Amenra deliver their famously intense live ritual. Eindhoven legends Peter Pan Speedrock celebrate 30 years, Converge unleash their hardcore fury, and The Exploited bring punk’s confrontational spirit. L.A. Guns, Prong, Pro-Pain, Nashville Pussy and Supersuckers add plenty of classic hard-rock muscle.
