Hayley Williams to make her live solo debut in Germany

Hayley Williams is stepping further into her own universe. Feminine, fragile, fearless — and now completely on her own terms with her label Post Atlantic, after years tied to a major-label deal that had weighed on her since her teenage years. Her story and talent have always been unique, and anyone who has followed her band Paramore over the last two decades has caught at least a glimpse of what that means. But this new chapter feels especially significant. Fans will understand why.

After redefining alternative music for millennials and Gen Z around the world with Paramore, “Miss Williams” became one of the defining figures of 2000s alternative culture through genre-shaping albums, explosive live performances, and a stage presence that remains nothing short of magnetic. Alongside global chart success and multiple Grammy Awards with Paramore, Williams also built an impressive career through collaborations with artists including B.o.B, Zedd, CHVRCHES, David Byrne, and American Football. Despite this, she’s never lost her DIY, community driven ethos. Now, the singer-songwriter returns to Europe in June 2026 with an intimate run of solo shows celebrating her acclaimed third album, Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party — a striking contrast to her most recent appearance on this side of the world, when Paramore joined Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour stadium run in 2024.

Blending jagged alt-rock, shimmering synth-pop, trip-hop textures, and shoegaze atmospheres, the album captures Williams at her most emotionally exposed — while still carrying that unmistakable “IDGAF” energy, even leaning into the political at times. Tracks like “Parachute” and “Glum” push far beyond the boundaries of her previous solo work, channeling vulnerability, chaos, humor, and catharsis into a sound that feels both expansive and deeply personal. Critics praised the record for its restless experimentation and lyrical honesty, further cementing Williams as one of the most compelling artists of her generation.

Her solo journey began with 2020’s Petals For Armor, a bold, art-rock-infused debut that revealed a darker and more experimental side of her songwriting through tracks like “Simmer,” “Dead Horse,” and “Cinnamon.” One year later, FLOWERS for VASES / descansos unveiled a quieter, more intimate aesthetic rooted in indie folk and minimalist confessionals. The pandemic deprived us of a tour, but now, with Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party, Williams returns with her most adventurous and emotionally unfiltered project to date. To experience this body of work live will be the stuff we’ll tell our grandkids about. The entire tour sold out within minutes.

Presented by Live Nation and Good Dye Young, the tour brings Hayley Williams to Germany for exclusive performances in Cologne and Berlin this June, joined by special guests Snuggle and Water From Your Eyes.

About Sophie Dobschall

German-bred, (ex?-)London-based, not American. Likes high quality banter and video interviews with a dash of photo pit. Feed her loud, sad emo bangers all day every day. Andrew W.K.’s party tips should be anyone’s life philosophy. Does not care that you hate her favorite band, Canadian pop-punk legends Simple Plan. Fight me.
