Lily Allen is heading Down Under for her biggest Australian and New Zealand headline tour to date, bringing her acclaimed fifth album, West End Girl, to arenas across the region this October and November. The tour marks Allen’s first Australian and New Zealand shows in more than seven years, following her 2019 No Shame tour.
Few British pop artists have made quite the same impact as Allen. Emerging in the mid-2000s with her sharp lyrics, infectious melodies and blend of pop, ska and reggae influences, she quickly became one of the defining voices of a new generation. Her 2006 debut Alright, Still produced hits including “Smile” and “LDN”, while It’s Not Me, It’s You followed with global favourites such as “The Fear” and “Fuck You”. Across albums including Sheezus and Mercury Prize-nominated No Shame, Allen has built a reputation for brutally honest songwriting, humour and an unmistakably individual voice.
Released in 2025, West End Girl is Allen’s first album in seven years and finds her turning the spotlight firmly back on herself. Built around her move to New York and the complexities of relationships and reinvention, the 14-track record combines pop, electronic textures and deeply personal storytelling.
And this tour is more than a greatest-hits run. Lily Allen will perform West End Girl in its entirety and in sequence, creating a show designed around the album’s narrative arc.
Auckland gets first dibs. On 21 October, Spark Arena will host Lily Allen’s return to New Zealand – her first show here in seven years – and the opening night of this major arena tour. Expect West End Girl played from beginning to end, alongside the wit, candour and pop hooks that have made Allen such a distinctive figure in British music.
