Messed!Up
M’era Luna is a metal, gothic rock and industrial music festival in Hildesheim, and attracts some 25,000 whimsically attired fans every year. The festival has been an integral part of the goth/metal scene since 2000 and is the biggest in the scene in Germany after the Wave Gothic Treffen. In addition to the bands, there is a large program containing a medieval market, fashion shows, discos and a lot of fun stuff. Additional surprises for the festival’s 25th anniversary celebrations will be revealed in the coming months.
The 25,000 attendees can look forward to Symphonic Metal from Apocalyptica, currently making waves with a stunning follow-up to their legendary debut album, ‘Apocalyptica Plays Metallica’. Also confirmed is Peter Murphy, a Gothic Rock icon known for his unmistakable baritone and timeless contributions to the genre, while De/Vision, Andon One, and Solar Fake will deliver mesmerizing synth pop. Other acts guaranteed to impress include Heiliung, Covenant, Faderhead, Tanzwut, and much more.
