Viva Sounds turn Gothenburg into a musically vibrant two-day celebration

There are few cities as interesting – or as rainy – as Gothenburg in winter, and for a few days right at the beginning of December there are few places more musically vibrant. Viva Sounds is a two-day celebration and music takes over the city, hitting any number of bars and clubs day and night. And that’s before the after party.

The quality of bands here never fails to amaze, and we’ve never left a Viva weekend behind without a favourite new band or two to follow up and look out for. And this year’s edition promises something extra. With acts like El Perro Del Mark, Kristofer Åström, Bror Gunnar Jansson and (too) many more, it will be a massive party.
