AViVA talks about the production of her debut album, not fitting in and learning Elvish as a teenager

Ms EyesClosed had the wonderful opportunity to talk to AViVA, a refreshing new force in the alternative music scene who just dropped her debut album “Volume I”, while she was in her native Australia. They talk about the circumstances of writing the album, being misunderstood and not really fitting in, as well as what happened when she learned Elvish as a teenager.

Unfortunately there was some audio issues but that’s what happens when you live on opposite sides of the world!

PS: The song she teases at the end is “WICKED”, coming out soon!!

About Sophie Dobschall

German-bred, (ex?-)London-based, not American. Likes high quality banter and video interviews with a dash of photo pit. Feed her loud, sad emo bangers all day every day. Andrew W.K.’s party tips should be anyone’s life philosophy. Does not care that you hate her favorite band, Canadian pop-punk legends Simple Plan. Fight me.
