Words Like Wildfire present new EP ‘Classic Tragedy’ featuring new single ‘Shake The Fear’ – and their quarantine pets

Sophie Dobschall August 7, 2020

In what is possibly the longest interview in Ms EyesClosed’s history, she finally present to you the finished edit of my 2 Zooms with Words Like Wildfire, cut down to a more or less condensed and social friendly video.

Needless to say, between the 5 of them, there was way too much to talk, and goof about. Growing up in the Greater Toronto Area, the guys tell me about the scene they come from and have been a part of since they were kids (special mention to Ian’s raver pants), a track-by-track summary of their new EP “Classic Tragedy” (via SounDrive Records), including their collaboration with Sleeping With Sirens vocalist Kellin Quinn for “Shake The Fear”, and a concept they had for an animated music video. Last but not least, we have a couple of special guests on – possibly the only upside of an interview during the pandemic is I get to meet pets.

Grab the EP right here, in literally whatever way you want.
