Yours Truly talk “Afterglow”, taking care of health issues, and Party Dave

Fresh pop-punk blood is coming from Australian newcomers Yours Truly, who have had an eventful year thus far. Their catchy single “High Hopes” has been on our playlist for over a year and this year’s Download Festival finally brought the group to Europe – followed by a tour with Sum41, their own headline tour in Australia and a full U.S. tour. Not bad for a bunch of kids from the other side of the world!

Our interview with singer Mikaila and guitarist Teddie took place hours after the band had taken the stage at (a very rainy) Download Festival, and right before they played an intimate show at The Underworld in support of pop-punk giants State Champs. We talk about their most recent EP “Afterglow”, as well as the importance of taking care of yourself as a touring musician with health issues, and Ms EyesClosed was introduced to Party Dave.
