Jacob Bellens: Impressive vocals, chilling beats and sincere messages

J.N. March 24, 2020

Since 2004 Copenhagen based Jacob Bellens has been on the music scene, starting out in Livstrompet and later continued with I Got You On Tape before embarking on a solo career with the solo debut album “The Daisy Age” in 2012. With a unique voice and talents for heart-rending melodies, Bellens has become one of the most distinctive figures on the Scandinavian music scene.

Eight years after his debut album Bellens is ready to release his fifth solo album, “My Heart Is Hungry And The Days Go By So Quickly”, on April 3rd at HFN Music, an album slightly darker in tone and somewhere in between left-field pop and a classical singer/songwriter album, and for the first time recorded in a band-setup.

Watch out for its release in a week!

About The Author

Music researcher with an unhealthy passion for music and music festivals. Former studio owner, semi-functional drummer and with a fairly good collection of old analogue synthesizers from the 70's. Indie rock, post rock, electronic/industrial and drum & bass (kind of a mix, yeah?) are usual stuff in my playlists but everything that sounds good will fit in.
